To protect your valuable appliances, the power meter has an overload protection feature. If a unit is drawing more electricity than a circuit can safely handle, the text "Overload" will blink on the screen, warning you to unplug the appliance immediately to prevent overheating.

The extra-large LCD screen of our energy meter has a clear digital display, making it easy to read the measurements from close or far. The continuous energy monitoring, day and night, empowers you to make smart, informed decisions that can impact your energy usage.

Additionally, the BALDR Power Meter comes with a built-in battery backup feature that will save your electricity usage readings, cost readings, and all settings during a power outage. We include two (2) 3.6V batteries with the energy monitoring outlet, so this function is ready to use right out of the box.

In the unlikely event that the buttons stop responding or the display appears abnormal, you can easily reset the energy usage monitor by pressing the small "reset" button located between the "energy" and "cost" buttons.
